Emmaus Retreat

The Spring Retreat is April 7-11th.

Formerly known as the Busy Person’s Retreat, the Emmaus Retreat is held in October and February of each year. The retreat is Sunday - Thursday and designed for students of all spiritual levels to pray for thirty minutes and meet with a spiritual director each day. Priests and religious from across Nebraska and the country travel to St. Teresa’s to offer direction to our retreatants.

The Gospel of Luke recounts the Road to Emmaus which takes place shortly after the Resurrection. Jesus, incognito, joined two of his followers who were despaired and walking back to their former way of life. After dropping the greatest Bible study ever recorded, he broke bread with them. At once, they realized it was Jesus in their company and he vanished.

The Emmaus Retreat is designed for us all who are journeying toward the Kingdom of God, but cannot often discern that Jesus is with us or where the road might lead us.

Spiritual Impact Bootcamp Retreat

Spring 2024 is February 16-18 in Omaha, NE.

“The Spirit of the Lord always remembers every individual, and wishes, particularly through you young people, to ‘stir up the wind and fire’ of a new Pentecost in the world.” Pope Benedict XVI shared these words to encourage young people today to pursue a relationship with the Holy Spirit, the powerful yet somewhat mysterious Third Person of the Trinity.

Participants on this retreat will be introduced to the Holy Spirit through a variety of talks, Scripture passages, and prayer periods aimed at inviting this “New Pentecost” into our lives. If you are seeking a way to kindle (or rekindle) the “fire” of your spiritual life, let this retreat show you how to bring the flame of the Holy Spirit with you wherever you go.

The Father’s House Retreat

Fall 2024 Dates coming soon!

Since the beginning of time, God has always revealed Himself as a loving and merciful Father to His people, longing to heal their wounds and carry their burdens. However, original sin and our modern culture have warped our view of fatherhood to be one of control, fear, and distrust; and so many are living their lives separated from the care and help of God the Father.

The purpose of this retreat is to allow participants to enter into God’s Fatherhood in a new way and to experience His closeness and His healing mercy in their lives. Talk sessions, small groups, and prayer periods will prepare the way for participants to receive the Father’s blessing in their lives and to go forth from this retreat prepared to abide in the Father’s House in a new and lasting way.
